Valerie Carberry Gallery opened in 2002 with a focus on Modern and Postwar American art, and represents the estates of John Storrs and José de Rivera. The gallery also represents a select group of mid-career artists of national stature. Areas of specialty include abstraction of the 1930's and 40's and modern sculpture.

Valerie Carberry Gallery is known nationally for strong programming in American art, producing three to four major exhibitions per year with accompanying scholarly publications. The gallery has exhibited this year at The Armory Show-Modern and The Art Show in New York City. The gallery also exhibits at Art Basel Miami Beach.
